The goal is to provide at least 5 face mask weakly to their citizens. This is purposely to assist the poor population which can’t access these masks at the right time. The exception concerns the old above 65 or the young under 20 who have been forbidden to leave home for any reason.
As a result, Everyone is expected to wear a face mask in public places like super markets and shops, this is to stop the virus from further contamination as Turkey is currently at about 27000 infe cted and about 600 575 deaths related to the corona virus.
The free mask distribution will mean the population will need to transfer the funds to pay for mask to basic necessities thereby reducing dependence on these mask which is becoming scarce by the day
