IT SHARES BORDERS WITH UNITED KINGDOM
in 1729 the United Kingdom and Spain agreed that the territory of Gibraltar, located in the south of Spain and also nicknamed the rock, is henceforth a united kingdom Territory in the city of Serville and this was confirmed by the Paris accord of 1783. Since then, Spain has been trying to reclaim the territory but to no success. Even the 2002 referendum-proof to be a failure. even the United Nations didn’t have much to say as Gibraltarians prefer being British. this means contrary to the distance from the main British Landmass and Spain. It called the Rock because of its 1400ft high rocky mountain with you can climb to by foot or cable car and experience beautiful sights like the sea or other distant African landmasses. it has a huge amount of underground tunnels and caves filled with so much history. its most attractive element may not even be this magnificent rock but the existence of a particular species of monkeys called the Barbary monkeys which have lived for centuries. these beautiful species attract a lot of visitors from far and near and its 30,000 Inhabitants can move across international boundaries on foot
